Our services are delivered in accordance with Australian aged care standards, the NDIS Practice Standards, and DVA requirements. We adopt a person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach to care, ensuring each individual is treated with dignity, respect, and understanding.
All Haven team members complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, undertake Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling (DVA) training, and maintain an Ausmed Passport to support continuous professional development and compliance with sector best practice.
Specialised Supports for Indigenous & Torres Straight Islanders
We provide personalised care and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with a strong respect for culture, community, and connection to Country. Our team understands the importance of kinship, shared decision-making, and community ways of living, and we work alongside individuals, families, and Elders to deliver care that feels safe, familiar, and supportive.
With a warm, culturally aware approach, we focus on building trust, supporting independence, and helping each person stay connected to what matters most—their identity, culture, and community.
